There is always a Sat Guru on the earth plane. In fact, the Sat Guru is on all the planes. For the Sat Guru is in everyone and everything all the time. There is no where that the Sat Guru is not. Realization of the Sat Guru comes with being true to ourselves all the time. Whether anyone is looking or not. The conscious mind is the means to this realization. It is the tool to be used to "Mahay",or churn the thoughts such that realization of the Sat Guru is achieved. Thanks for the question

in anuraag saagar?
There are certain physical marks and also qualities, and in anuraag saagar it appears that these have to be 'decipehered'. Quite honestly, I think that the 16 sons are really qualities of Sat Purush as well as Sat Guru. I also remember mention that the Guru Power and the Guru are 2 different 'things' and we must not mix them up. Maybe '...it comes and goes from moment to moment....'.

As far as I understand it, a Guru is always there when a disciple is ready. The Disciple holds the KEY for the specifics of the Guru he or she is destined to meet. This is regulated by the Law of Karma. The 'Power' is ONE, radiating through a suitable human pole to a suitable recipient.e.g. like suitable graduate teacher for a suitable class, suitable subject etc. The inner experience of Satlok can only be conveyed to a disciple by the grace of an assigned Guru from the the region of Satlok. Naturally, there will be other Gurus from Astral, Causal, Supra-Causal etc. A Satguru's main interest is the release of a soul from the bonds of all Karmas. According to Satguru Kabir Sahib, the Supreme is like the Ocean and a Soul is like Water in a container in the Ocean. The Water inside and outside (though similar), cannot meet unless the container (ego) is broken. The container can only be broken by a competent Guru who can work both outside and inside and accomplish the jpb in the shortest possible time. Guru's Grace.....

Utavaasi
It is said that the Sat guru is Ultavaasi. What does this mean?

Niwasi and Ultawasi
I thought that niwasi is like a son or daughter and ultawasi is one who is one is neither. That is, he belongs to no one, or is not limited by blood relatives or other relations.

Living truth
Yes! i know for certain that a Satguru is always present among us all . If not this earth would have been destroyed by man already.

Satguru is always precent
Satguru will be there always on this planet. As per philosophy of Bijak exsistance of sadguru on this univerce always evern if there is no creation of nature. becose Satguru is not a human body its a distinict consiousness which come down on this earth as and when required...

Satguru is the highest form of consciousness
I agree with Manish and Parbatee that Satguru is a distinct form of consciousness that cannot be contained only in human form. It is as Kabir Saheb says "Mai to hoon biswaas me, Moko kaha doonde bande, Mai to tere paas men"

sat guru
Was Kabir the first teacher who coined the term sat guru as different from Guru, in order to re- establish the guru as the Ultimate teacher to attain true realization, the guru being a physical form? Does Kabir not make a distiction between Sat Guru and Shabd. Where Shabd is emmanating from God throughout creation and the SatGuru being the pyhsical pole through which that power works.

Concept of Guru and Sat Guru
I think Saheb's statement on the distinction of guru and Satguru makes sense. If we think of the "inner vibrations of sound and light, these are scientific concepts proven to be the actual state of every nucleus. In Quantum Physics nothing is considered solid but rather a degree of density of vibrations. Similarly, I am sure other teachers, Imams, Masters, Swamis, are all "guru" in the sense that they are like more refined combination of vibrations who can have a positive influence on others. The higher the state of the guru, the closer they are to that ultimate form of "Sat Guru". As Saheb said above God is not a single being away from creation, but is part and parcel of the entire creation. That would make both scientific and spiritual sense. As pure energy, God cannot - not be a part of everything. It would also make sense that a Satguru is one who has experienced this highest state, and thus is at once at one with God and the creation as well, and can teach others how to experience that state. It is said that both Kabir Saheb and Guru Nanak were considered contemporaries. And both were considered to be Sat Gurus. So may be it is highly unlikely to have more than one realized being at a time, but it is not impossible, not to mention that such gurus do not consider themselves to be two separate beings, but rather one in the presence of God.
